On September 19 at 12 noon Polish time began the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II, which takes place in Westminster Abbey. The ceremony was attended by heads of state and dignitaries. Above all, however, the royal family was present. The king said goodbye to King Charles III, Queen consort of Camilla. Also present were Princess Anna, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, as well as Prince William and Prince Kate with children, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The youngest grandson of the monarch was also present.

14-year-old James Alexander Philip Theo attended the funeral
James Alexander Philip Theo is the son of the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth – Prince Edward. James’s mother is Sophie Rhys-Jones, with whom Prince Edward has been associated for over 20 years. It has long been said that the Viscount Severn was the monarch’s favorite granddaughter. The teenager and his sister Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary and parents avoid publicity. They rarely appear at official state ceremonies. Now, however, they could not be missing. The 14-year-old accompanied his sister. He was wearing a traditional suit. In the photos that hit the media, you can see that he was very serious, and his face showed sadness. Foreign media, including the Daily Mail service, write that James showed great maturity that day.

It is worth mentioning that Prince Edward’s children do not enjoy princely titles.
We made a decision that the children would not use princely titles. It is true that they have them and after turning 18 they will be able to decide for themselves whether to use them, but I think it is unlikely – Prince Edward’s wife said in one of the interviews in 2020.
The teenager is said to be very much like Prince William in his youth.
