Germany: An 11-year-old took his father’s car and drove onto the highway. He caused an accident

The Saxon police informed that the serious accident occurred on Monday morning around 11.

11-year-old from Wiederitzsch he took his father’s car keys and set off on highway No. 14, leading to Magdeburg.

The journey of the underage “driver” ended in an accident. The boy lost control of the vehicle and hit one of the guardrails. The car rolled on its side and the 11-year-old suffered serious injuries.

Called rescue helicopterwho transported the injured person to the hospital.

Highway 14 was temporarily closed. Services were working on the road to secure the site and remove the car wreck.

“The case is ongoing,” said the Saxon police in a statement.
