Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the end of the war during a meeting with Lachlan Murdoch, CEO of Fox Corporation, Fox News journalist Benjamin Hall and “The Sun” journalist Jerome Starkey.

Volodymyr Zelensky: This is not cinema for our warriors

As Zelensky said, people “for some reason” they treat the ongoing war “like cinema” and they expect that “there will be no long breaks in activities, that the images in front of our eyes will constantly change, that there will be surprises every day.”

This is not cinema for our warriors. This is our life, our daily hard work. And all this will not end as quickly as we would likebut we have no right to surrender and we will not do it, announced the Ukrainian leader.

During the meeting, he also talked about the situation on the front, high motivation of the Ukrainian military, determination of the Ukrainians and faith in victory.

War in Ukraine. Third assault wave

Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, he said that the attack on Avdiivka was carried out because Vladimir Putin needs “tactical victory on the battlefield” before announcing that will run for president in 2024.
