Kiev defended itself against the 13th missile attack by Russia since the beginning of May. The air defense shot down all the missiles that flew in its direction, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.
The fragments of the falling rockets damaged the roof of the shopping and entertainment center, cars parked on the street and a private building. There is no information about the victims and the injured, said the head of the Kiev administration, Serhiy Popko.
An anti-aircraft alert was announced in the morning throughout the country. In the capital of Ukraine, where sirens howled just after 3 (2:00 a.m. Polish time), the alarm lasted 2.5 hours.
-“This time the attack was carried out by Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea region. Kh-101/155 cruise missiles were probably used. According to preliminary information, all enemy targets in Kiev’s airspace have been detected and destroyed,” Popko wrote in Telegram.
