CD Projekt RED worked very closely with Studio Trigger to prepare a story that will expand the world of Cyberpunk. So it should come as no surprise that while watching the anime, we will notice a number of well-known locations that we could previously check in the game. What’s more, while learning about V’s adventure, we’ll come across braindance from the series.
The Polish company has considerable plans to expand the brand embedded in futuristic realities, which is clearly exemplified not only by the new DLC, clothing or gadgets inspired by Cyberpunk. Even before the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077, we received a preview of the animated story, for which we had to wait a long time. However, patience has paid off, and the authors can talk about a considerable success – after the excellent reception by the reviewers, the production enjoys quite decent interest.
The premiere of “Cyberpunk Edgerunners” undoubtedly also influenced the position of CD Projekt RED, because the audience returned to Night City and for a few days eagerly began to carry out the tasks. While traversing the dangerous city, we will find many places, which were also regularly visited by David Martinez in the series available on Netflix – in this matter, the artists from the Japanese animation studio did not want to significantly change the original version and presented the world almost identically as in the developers’ vision. By winning the title of the Polish studio, we can come across braindance, which the protagonist of the series experiences at the beginning of the story.
The creators of CD Projekt RED intriguingly combine and complement both projects, the best proof of which are the following materials – here you will see a list of places presented in two episodes and the location of the mentioned braindance.
