Until the premiere of the new series of Apple smartphones iPhone 16 There’s still almost a year left, but the Internet is already full of rumors about new apples. Not so long ago, great news circulated in the media, according to which the basic models would undergo a very significant change.
Talking about image refresh rate higher than 60 Hz – so far, only models with the note Pro in their name have this option, and the basic ones still only offer basic refreshment.
For a while, Apple fans could hope that 120 Hz would finally appear in basic models.

According to leaker Revegnus, in 2024 we cannot expect higher refresh quality in the basic and Plus models. Thus, the giant from Cupertino seems to be stuck a few years back, when such a solution was the norm. Now even cheaper mid-range devices offer 120 Hz, or at least 90Hz.
-Reliable display analyst Ross Young also has a similar opinion. According to him, we will have to wait until series 17 in 2025.
