The Polish studio Eremite Games has finally revealed when the highly praised Against the Storm will leave Early Access. The popular city builder will have its official premiere on December 8. In addition to Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store, the game will also be available on PC Game Pass.
In addition to this important information, the creators also released a fresh trailer, which you can watch below, and announced two more updates. Recall that Against the Storm has gotten some so far over 15,000 reviews on Valve’s platform, as many as 95% of them are positive.
The first update – called “Modest Update” – will arrive on November 23 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Thanks to this patch, selected bugs will be eliminated and the game balance and “user experience” will be improved. The creators recommend that players complete the construction of their settlements before this patch is introduced.-
On the other hand the second update – 1.0 – will be available on the day of release and will provide a new mode: Queen’s Hand Trial. Those who are looking for more demanding gameplay challenges should be pleased with it.
In the mentioned mode, players have one cycle to complete the most difficult adventure in the game – Adamantine Seal. In this game you will have to manage your upgrades carefully as they are going to be expensive. If the player abandons the village or fails to achieve the goal within the allotted time, he or she will lose. However, those who overcome the demanding mode will receive the title of Queen’s Hand and meet the Scorched Queen herself.
In addition Eremite Games announced a broadcast on Twitch for today, during which the creators will answer viewers’ questions. This Q&A session started at 7:00 p.m. and you can watch it at this address.
