Unicorn Overlord in action on PS5. Over 7 minutes of gameplay from the new game by the authors of Dragon’s Crown and Odin Sphere

Unicorn Overlord already made a good impression in September, during the first presentation of the new game by the authors of Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown. Today we have another opportunity to take a look at the gameplay from this project.

Unicorn Overlord is coming on PS4, PS5, Switch and Xbox Series X|S. The game is being developed by the proven Vanillaware team, with publishing support from Sega.

The project in which withWe are starting on March 8, 2024. provides tactical gameplay in the visual style characteristic of the authors of the excellent Dragon’s Crown and Odin Sphere. During battles, the game provides a classic side-view camera and 2D aesthetics. Only when maneuvering troops do we have access to a wider field of view, in 3D.

The PS5 footage below gives us a chance to look at almost 8 minutes of Unicorn Overlord gameplay. We only have the Japanese language version available.
