You may have witnessed a rather surprising discussion on the official Need for Speed Twitter. An EA employee got drawn into an unnecessary conversation that ended up insulting one of the players. The company issued an apology.
Need for Speed Unbound will premiere in early December, so Electronics reveal more details about the production. The company publishes more materials, and one of the publications was commented on by a player who criticized EA’s proposal in a way – customers can buy a more expensive version of the game to play the game 3 days before the premiere.
Quite unexpectedly, an EA employee responded to the comment with the following words: “milkshake brain” and then emphasized that the player can “cry” about it or simply “buy the game for the normal price”.
The answers were quickly picked up by other players, who quite clearly defined the message of an Electronic Arts employee, because it must be admitted that the player did not say anything wrong – many people comment negatively about earlier access to games offered in more expensive editions of the game.-
After less than a day, the company apologized to…
“We admit we got a little caught up in the hype surrounding the launch and some of our recent social media responses have crossed the line. We apologize to those fans we upset. We’ll improve. See you next week”.
