The situation before this match in Group C was quite interesting. England was certain to play at Euro 2024, second place Italy had the same number of points as third place Ukraine. Our eastern neighbors needed a victory to overtake the Italian team.

The match was played at a fast pace from the beginning. Federico Chiesa had the first opportunity, but his shot was off target. In response, Georgiy Sudakov checked the form of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
