Bayern Munich has had its first positive meeting with the agent of Assan Ouédraogo from Schalke 04 – informed Florian Plettenberg.
The central midfielder presented himself to a wider audience not only at the last European Championships and the ongoing U-17 World Cup, but also thanks to his regular appearances in the team from Gelsenkirchen at the level of the 2nd Bundesliga.
As a result, a large number of European clubs have him on their radar. The leaders among them are German teams from the highest league – Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Apart from them, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Liverpool are also keen to get the promising player.
For now, most of the teams mentioned have made direct contact with Assan Ouédraogo’s agent in order to check their chances and the conditions necessary to consider signing him.
Florian Plettenberg from Sky argues that such a meeting recently took place between the representative of the 17-year-old midfielder and Bayern Munich.
It took place in a very positive atmosphere and indicates that sporting director Christoph Freund is a big fan of the talent of the Schalke 04 graduates and imagines him being immediately included in the first team, without the need to play in the reserves or send him on loan.-
Such an approach may unexpectedly put the Bavarians ahead in the race for Ouédraogo, which has so far been led by their league rivals.
The mentioned journalist had already informed that the talented footballer’s contract, valid until June 30, 2027, includes three clauses – seven, 9-12 and 20 million euros.
The first two are intended for domestic clubs that will or will not qualify for European cups. In turn, the last one is to be binding for foreign teams and the German ones will also become applicable if a 17-year-old makes his debut in the first national team.
Ouédraogo managed to record a goal and an assist in the ongoing competition.
