Ukraine will also receive over 3 million rounds of small arms, ammunition for neutralizing obstacles, winter equipment and spare parts, technical support and other auxiliary equipment.
The last time the United States announced it would send another military aid package to Ukraine was in early November. The package then included weapons worth $125 million and an order for an additional $300 million.
The Biden administration is making efforts to continue financing Ukraine
Joe Biden’s administration still has about $5 billion in the U.S. stockpile-based military aid budget approved by Congress last year.-
Biden is trying to convince Congress to support aid for both Ukraine and Israel and approve a new $106 billion aid package that includes more than $61 billion in funding for Ukraine.
U.S. congressional leaders hope to mobilize votes for additional military aid to Ukraine and Israel, as well as improvements to the immigration system, before Christmas.
