We know what’s going on with Dawid Kubacki’s health

During the last pre-season training camp, Dawid Kubacki caught a cold. However, fans have no reason to worry before the inauguration of the World Cup.

Dawid Kubacki informed WP SportoweFakty that he is feeling much better. His participation in the first Ski Jumping World Cup competitions in Ruka (November 25-26) is not at risk.

The team world champion suffered from a cold during the last pre-season training camp in Lillehammer, Norway. According to Thomas Thurnbichler, the jumper was weak due to fever and missed several training units.

Last season, Dawid Kubacki was one of the best World Cup jumpers. He won as many as 6 competitions. He dominated especially at the beginning of the competition. He was the leader of the series for over a month, and eventually took 4th place.

This season, Kubacki is also mentioned as one of the favorites to win the general classification of the World Cup. The series will start in Ruka, Finland, and the first test of the jumpers’ form will be Friday training sessions (from 2:00 p.m.) and qualifications (4:00 p.m.).

Saturday and Sunday individual competitions will start at 4:15 p.m. Broadcast on TVN and Eurosport 1. The resulting live coverage on WP SportoweFakty.
