Marek Papszun is currently unemployed, but this situation does not have to last for too long. On Monday, the coach was a guest of the “How to teach football” program, where he confessed what he now devotes his time to.
Marek Papszun has been unemployed since July after he left Raków Częstochowa.
His decision came as a big surprise to the community, because we are talking about a coach who achieved everything possible at Jasna Góra in the country.
The only missing scalp is promotion to the group stage of the European cups.
Despite the unfinished mission, the trainer decided to leave, and his place was taken by Dawid Szwarga.
In the meantime, the 49-year-old was linked with entities such as Schalke, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dynamo Kiev, Olympiakos and the Polish national team. For now, though, it’s still up for grabs.
He commented on this topic in the program “How to teach football”.-
– It’s intense now, but different. We are talking about operating in completely different areas. Still, it happens without pressure. Concentrating only on the team was my job. Now that has changed.
“I do a lot of other things,” he added mysteriously.
– Now I focus mainly on myself and pro bono matters. We’re talking about television and things that you can’t see, like human interactions, which takes a lot of time. I’m getting ready for a new challenge. I travel around the world. I watch, I look and I use this time educationally – he said.
Marek Papszun was responsible for the results of Raków Częstochowa in 2016-2023.
