¦ląsk Wrocław with 33 points after 15 matches is the revelation of this season of the top league. And all this a few months after the team was struggling to stay in the top league until the end. For now, there is no indication that the club will slow down, especially since the names of players who could join the club in the winter are already emerging.

Śląsk Wrocław may change its owner. Cezary Kucharski confirms
This is not the end of interesting news in the context of Silesia. The question of who will own it is still unresolved. Currently, the club is managed by the city authorities, but it has been announced many times that there is a desire to sell it to a private investor. – We still want to sell the club, but the facts are that Śląsk is the leader of the Ekstraklasa. Crowds of people come to the matches, so the value of this product increases. […] We would like to close this transaction this year and let’s hope that this will happen – said Jakub Mazur, vice-president of Wrocław.
The information that the club may change its owner was also confirmed by Cezary Kucharski in a conversation with Tomasz Ćwiąkała. – I don’t know how it will turn out, I am not taking part in these talks, but one of the German investors is participating in negotiations regarding the purchase of Śląsk Wrocław – he said.
– I have always said that Śląsk is a club with great potential, with great possibilities, but I did not suspect that they would show this potential so quickly. So my recommendation is good, he also added.
-There are many indications that the mysterious “German investor” may be the German real estate tycoon Westminster. Jakub Seweryn from Sport.pl reported in June that the company, or more precisely its Polish branch (Westminster Polska), had submitted an offer to take over Silesia.
The owner of Westminster is Marian Ziburske, who has been financially involved in sports for a long time. It is a sponsor of Hertha and Union Berlin, but also of Bayern Leverkusen. It also operates in Poland – it is the main partner of the Służewiec horse racing track in Warsaw. Śląsk Wrocław will play away against Radomiak Radom in the next round on Monday.
