At the end of September last year, the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines were found to have a sharp drop in pressure and a gas leak. Authorities in Copenhagen discovered a total of three leaks in gas pipelines. The findings so far indicate an act of sabotage. Sweden, Denmark and Germany are currently investigating the case. The circumstances of blowing up the gas pipelines are also being investigated by one of the departments of the Polish National Prosecutor’s Office and the Internal Security Agency.

In recent days, there have been reports of the latest findings of German investigators, according to which a company registered in Poland could be involved in the explosions. The case concerns the Andromeda yacht, which was boarded by a woman and five men in the port of Hohe Düne in Rostock, Germany. The yacht was then supposed to sail near where the explosion occurred. In the cabin of the yacht, investigators were to find traces of explosives. According to the journalists’ findings, Andromeda was hired by representatives of a company registered in Warsaw by Ukrainian citizens. What’s more, one of the passengers of the yacht was supposed to use someone else’s data.

According to “Rzeczpospolita”, according to Polish investigators, the version of Andromeda’s involvement in the sabotage does not seem likely. – People on the yacht did not look like professionals who could perform such a task. They were partying, loud, attracting attention, some of the men had gold chains around their necks. No professional would attract attention so ostentatiously – says the informant of the daily. Moreover, on a 15-meter Andromeda, it would be difficult to transport large amounts of explosives.

– Putting the whole thing together, the version with the tourists from the yacht is simply absurd – comments a person with information about the Polish investigation. The informant points out that “if any services wanted to use a company, they would camouflage it perfectly” and “put everything on a tray here”. Wojciech Cieśla from frontstory.pl suggested that “perhaps the Andromeda cruise and its Ukrainian tracks were deliberately organized and “staged” by the Russians to distract investigators from the real culprits. “Rz” also reports that, according to Polish investigators, a dozen or so Russian vessels were sailing in the area of ​​​​the explosion, which are adapted to go under water.
