During the PlayStation Showcase, a disturbing trailer containing fragments of gameplay from the writer’s new adventure was presented, in addition, Remedy Entertainment presented a number of details about the upcoming production. Alan Wake will return in October, but according to official information, we will not see a physical release.
The above news caused quite a stir among the players, but the developers argue the decision for many reasons. First of all, Alan Wake 2 will be available at a lower price – below the new price standard. Not everyone liked the concept, and many fans of classic distribution prefer to pay more to put the box on the shelf.
THQ Nordic referred to the case, which offered its help. Many years ago, the publisher developed a physical edition of Alan Wake for PC, and now announced that he is able to deal with the title, but there is “ONE” person or company who wants the adventure to be made available only in digital distribution.
