The series – as in the case of many previous seasons – will start in Finnish Ruka (November 25 and 26). Later, the best athletes in the world will start in Lillehammer, Klingenthal, Engelberg, and at the turn of 2023 and 2024 they will traditionally take part in the 4-Hills-Tournament.
After the TCS – for the first time in history – there will be the so-called Polish Tournament consisting of a duo competition and individual competition in Wisła (January 13 and 14), individual competition in Szczyrk (January 17), as well as team and individual competition in Zakopane ( January 20 and 21).
January will end with the Ski Flying World Championships, which will be held in Bad Mitterndorf, Austria. After their completion, the jumpers will travel to Willingen, Lake Placid, Sapporo, Oberstdorf, Lahti, Oslo, Trondheim, Vikersund, and the cycle will normally end at the mammoth facility in Planica (March 22-24).
The Crystal Ball for the triumph in the 2022/2023 season will be defended by Halvor Egner Granerud. In the general classification, the Norwegian ahead of the Austrian Stefan Kraft and the Slovenian Anże Laniszek. The best of the Poles – Dawid Kubacki – was fourth. Nowotarżin could have been higher, but he ended the competition prematurely due to the serious health problems of his wife Marta.
