My wife Marta ended up in the hospital for cardiological reasons, her condition is serious and the doctors are fighting for her life – said Dawid Kubacki on Monday afternoon. The Polish jumper in the entry on Instagram informed that it was the end of the season for him, but “that’s not the most important thing now”.
“Dawid Kubacki will not start in the Ski Jumping World Cup competitions until the end of the 2022/2023 season,” the Polish Ski Association said on Twitter.

More about the reasons for his decision was written by the jumper himself, who provided disturbing information about his wife’s health.
“My wife Marta ended up in the hospital for cardiological reasons, her condition is severe and the doctors are fighting for her life. She is in good hands, she is a strong girl, I know she will fight. Of course, it’s the end of the season for me, but that’s not the most important thing right now” – he wrote on Instagram.
Dawid and Marta got married in 2019, they have two daughters – Zuzanna and Maja.
