Dawid Kubacki’s wife is fighting for her life. Her condition is severe
Dawid Kubacki will not take part in the ski jumping World Cup competitions until the end of the 2022/2023 season, the Polish Ski Association informed. The jumper himself issued a short statement on the matter. It’s about his wife’s health.
Kubacki withdrew from Sunday’s competition in Vikersund. Thomas Thurnbichler admitted that it was for personal reasons.

On Monday, we learned the reason, and the jumper himself revealed it.
– My wife Marta ended up in the hospital for cardiological reasons, her condition is serious and the doctors are fighting for her life. She’s in good hands, she’s a strong girl, I know she’ll fight. Of course it’s the end of the season for me, but that’s not the most important thing right now,” he wrote on Instagram.
-The couple got married in 2019. They also had two daughters – Zuzanna and Maja.
