Carlos Gaewkheo Shiralipour was a talented midfielder who made his debut for Viborg’s first team back in 2009, when he was fielded by current women’s coach Lars Sondergaard against Hvidovre in the Danish second division. Shiralipour replaced current Brondby player Kevin Mensah. In 2010, Shiralipour made his debut for the Danish under-18 national team (he was born in this country, his mother comes from Thailand, and his father is from Iran), where he managed to play three matches, and he played there together with Jannik Vestergaard and Frederik Roennow, who for several years they regularly play in the adult Danish national team. There he also met the current star of FC Copenhagen – Rasmus Falk and Jonas Knudsen representing Malmoe FF.
Carlos Gaewkheo Shiralipour played 27 first-team matches for Viborg between 2009 and 2013 before serious knee injuries put an end to an otherwise promising football career.
Lars Soendergaard, who made Shiralipour’s debut in Viborg’s first team, is shocked. – This is a very unfortunate case. Until then, I could only say good things about him. He was always smiling and happy, he worked hard on various things and had a promising career, which unfortunately ended with injuries – he told journalists of “Ekstra Bladet” in a telephone conversation.

In court, the 30-year-old Shiralipour explained that due to the injury to the cruciate ligament in his knee, he had to carefully consider what he wanted to do with his future – and the choice fell on medical school. According to him, he did not have good enough grades for this, and therefore had to spend a lot of time before he was accepted.
– I haven’t spent seven years of my life (in medical school, ed.) insulting people from almost day one. I spent seven years because I wanted to help people, Shiralipour said during the trial. At the university, he studied with BMX cyclist Simone Tetsche Christensen. He was also a volunteer at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He received his medical degree in 2021.
