On Sunday, September 25, the Golden March will be organized in Lublin. It is an event that aims to draw the residents’ attention to childhood cancer. In addition, there will be a tent town on the Litewski Square, where educational campaigns will take place, there will be animations for children and various attractions. As for the latter, Poławiacze Pereł – Improv Teatr, Lubelscy Bębniarze and circus animators from the Sztukmistrze Foundation have already announced their participation.

The whole event will start at 1.00 p.m. with drumming and vocal workshops for children. Under the supervision of the leader – Sylwia Lasok, the children will prepare a Golden Song, which then at 15.30 they will perform on stage. The Golden March itself, a parade led by Lublin drummers, will depart at 3 p.m. from Plac Łokietka. Participants will walk along the promenade to Litewski Square, promoting the idea of ​​Children’s Cancer Awareness Month.

From 15.30 to 17.00 artistic performances, animations for children and educational activities are planned, which will take place on the stage and in the tent town. You will be able to meet doctors and representatives of foundations and associations working for children suffering from cancer.

One of the points of the event is highlighting selected city objects with gold. The color is not accidental, because it is associated with September, the Month of Children’s Cancer Awareness. It is already known that it will include the building of the Institute of Informatics, the Arena Lublin stadium as well as the “New Baobab” and chestnut planters.
