A mountain of corn on the tracks. The perpetrator was revealed by one object

The police received a report that someone had spilled hundreds of kilograms of corn from wagons standing on a railway siding. The officers had an easier task because the perpetrator was revealed by one thing.

According to the police, on the siding of the Jarosław railway station, someone opened the door to the corn wagonswhich immediately spilled onto the ground. The photos show a large mound created by the grain. The police were called to the scene by an employee who was putting tarpaulins on the wagons.

“While working, he heard a noise at the front of the wagon train. He went in that direction, where he saw open doors in two wagons. Corn was pouring out of them onto the tracks,” the police describe in the press release.

Losses were estimated at over 10,000. zlotys. The policemen who dealt with the case had a great help in identifying the person responsible for the destruction of the grain. The man who called the servicesnext to one of the wagons he found a mobile phone which he gave to the officers.

The police used the phone number to find its owner. It turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of Jarosław. The suspect was charged with damaging property and faces up to five years in prison.
