The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued a first-degree warning against icing, which may occur in the southern part of the Lubusz Voivodeship on Tuesday, next night and Wednesday morning.
Warning valid from 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 9.00 on Wednesday (November 22), issued for the following counties: Krosno, Nowa Sól, Wschowa, Żagań, Żary, Zielona Góra and Zielona Góra.
In their area, wet road surfaces and sidewalks are expected to freeze after rainfall and sleet, causing them to become icy.
As stated in the warning, the minimum temperature will be approximately -4 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature at the ground will be approximately -6 degrees Celsius. Locally negative air temperatures will also remain on Wednesday during the day.
The probability of the phenomenon occurring was estimated at 80%.
