– We see it as a big challenge to conquer foreign markets. We wanted it to also be addressed in our structure, said Jacek Świderski, president and one of the main shareholders of Wirtualna Polska Holding, at Tuesday’s conference.
Bartłomiej Haber joined the company from Santander Bank Polska, where he worked for almost four years as managing director of a team dealing with acquisitions and mergers in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors.
Previously, Haber was associated with, among others, with the Eastbridge investment fund (in 2012-2015 as managing director) and Grupa o2 (in 2011-2024 as a member of the supervisory board), currently part of Wirtualna Polska Holding. He also ran his own business – for over a decade he headed the CAG consulting agency specializing in takeovers and mergers.

Wirtualna Polska Holding began its foreign operations at the end of last year, taking over the Szallas Group for approximately EUR 83 million, which includes platforms for booking accommodation in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland and Croatia. As a result, in the last quarter, the WP tourist segment, which also includes Wakacje.pl and Nocowanie.pl operating in our country, achieved a year-on-year increase in sales revenues from PLN 76.14 to 185.79 million and adjusted EBITDA from 27.91 to 83 PLN .36 million.
Now Wirtualna Polska begins to offer its tools for implementing online advertising campaigns on several foreign markets, primarily WPartner. In the first stage, she entered the Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria with them.
-– We are already selling campaigns there on a noticeable scale, we accept normal, standard campaigns – described Jacek Świderski. WP’s services in these markets are currently used primarily by Polish companies that also operate there. From the beginning of next year, the tools will also be offered to local customers.
In the third quarter of this year Wirtualna Polska Holding with an increase in revenues by almost 50%. to PLN 405.29 million, increased net profit from PLN 50.76 to PLN 71.7 million. These are record results in the history of the company.
After the publication of these results on Tuesday morning, the company’s shares increased by almost 4%.
