They show how rain falling at minus temperatures froze on the car and formed a layer of ice on it.

Forecasters from IMWM expect that the risk of black ice will continue to occur in the belt in the coming hours from the Lublin region and northern Podkarpacie to Masovia, the center, Kujawy and eastern Greater Poland. Level 1 freezing rain or drizzle alerts have been issued for the area.

However, this will not be the only dangerous phenomenon that awaits us in the coming hours. In southern and central Poland, high temperatures will prevail from Monday and there will be a lot of rainfall. Meanwhile, in the late afternoon, evening and night it will cool down and there will be a slight frost. This means that wet surfaces and puddles will freeze and develop icy conditions.

IMWM announces the issuance of alerts for 11 voivodeships: Lower Silesia, Opole, Silesia, Lesser Poland, Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie, Lublin, Łódź, Greater Poland, Lubusz and partially Masovian.
