In October 2020, in the place where the church was to be built, representatives of the Szczecin parish drove a wooden stake. The area was neither fenced nor marked. The stake was smeared with yellow paint and had the word “cross” written on it. According to “Gazeta Wyborcza”, Aleksandra noticed it, took it out and threw it in the trash. She didn’t think it would cost her that much.
“The priest spoke about me from the pulpit”
Mrs. Aleksandra took out the stake because she thought it was a threat to children and dogs running around the square. What she did, she shared on her social media profile. The priest from the parish for which the church was to be built found out about everything. And decided to intervene. In his opinion, the woman broke the law because she removed the geodetic mark.
– said Aleksandra in an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza”.

The police instructed her. Mrs. Aleksandra, however, did not want to accept him, so the case went to court. The judge then found that the resident of Szczecin had committed an offense and imposed a fine of PLN 300 on her.

-Two years later, another sentence was handed down. This time Mrs. Aleksandra was acquitted, but the verdict is not final.
