According to “Rzeczpospolita”, “ban on charging mobile phones by employees, reducing the number of refrigerators and electric kettles or limiting the cleaning of offices after working hours – these are just some of the ways local authorities can reduce electricity consumption, to which they are obliged from tomorrow. Who will not save 10 percent, this one, by decision of the President of the Regulatory and Energy Office, may pay a penalty of up to PLN 20,000.

“The Ministry of Climate and Environment reassures that the savings are to apply only to offices, and not to, for example, street lighting. However, local government officials warn that this year it will be extremely difficult, if only because of new obligations – the payment of carbon allowances, and above all the sale of coal residents,” we read in “DGP”.
