Police officers from Płońsk captured a 50-year-old man who stole a car from a parking lot in Siedlin. He explained that he made an appointment with a woman who did not come to the meeting, so he decided to steal a car to return to his place of residence. He also admitted that he wanted to sell the car, but could not find a buyer.
A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary. He confessed to the act. She added that the car was stolen a few days ago in one of the parking lots in Siedlin.
“The owner of the Honda car informed the police that she had left the car in the parking lot in the afternoon, and when she finished her work, her car was gone. The next day, the officers received information that the stolen vehicle had been seen on Grunwaldzka Street in Płońsk. police patrol” – said Kom. Drężek-Zmysłowska.
As she added, the police noticed the Honda in one of the parking lots – the car had its lights on, and the man sitting behind the wheel was trying to start the engine. The policemen blocked the exit and ran to the vehicle. The driver, who turned out to be a 50-year-old resident of Płońsk, was arrested.
“The man told the policemen that on the day of the theft of the vehicle, he made an appointment with his girlfriend in Siedlin. He went to the agreed place on foot, but he did not find the woman there and could not contact her. While passing by the parking lot near the school, he decided to steal one of the cars to return to Płońsk” – explained the spokeswoman of the Płońsk police.-
She added that during the interrogation, the 50-year-old also admitted that after returning to his place of residence, he wanted to sell the stolen car, but he did not find a buyer.
