We have known for a long time that Andrzej Sapkowski is working on a new novel from the world of The Witcher. Back in August, the author announced that he would need about a year to finish the book. The writer was present at the Comic Con convention in Vienna, where he again raised the topic of Geralt’s new adventures. Sapkowski gave the approximate release date of the upcoming novel.
The new book in the Witcher series will debut at the end of 2024
The yet untitled book will be published in Poland first, and only in the following months will it be released on the international market. Andrzej Sapkowski announced that the premiere of the novel should be expected at the end of 2024 in Poland and at the beginning of 2025 in other countries.
Ten years have passed since Season of Storms was released. At the time of its premiere, the book met with great interest from fans, although, according to many readers, it was not of the quality of the previous parts of the series.
