In team Tomson and Baron in the semi-finals “The Voice of Poland” they faced each other Becky Sangolo and Paweł Kozicz. Sangolo performed a hit Rihanna “Only Girl (In The World)” and his own song “Call Me”. Kozicz, on the other hand, presented a hit Bruno Marsa “Runaway Baby” and the original composition “Skrzydła”.
The level of the participants was so equal and high that none of the coaches was able to advise the coaching duo on their decision.
“It’s almost impossible to choose between you. You are pearls, diamonds, ready for this stage. We have to look at who can do something on the Polish and global market. Watching and listening to your performances I feel something more,” he commented. Thomson.
“There is no room for mistakes, for being unprepared and for setting the bar too high. You are absolutely professional. We are filled with joy and pride when we watch your performances,” he added Baron. The coaching duo gave two more points to Sangolo (52 to 48).
The viewers, however, bet on the participants in the perfect reverse order. Ultimately, after voting by coaches and viewers, each participant had 100 points, which happened for the first time in the history of all fourteen editions of “The Voice of Poland”. The perfect tie astonished the coaches, who began persuading the production to let them both play in the final.
However, this did not happen. Tomasz Kammel reported that the program’s production appointed Tomson and Baron to decide again. This time they had to choose the final winner, to which they both reacted with groans of disappointment.
Ultimately, Tomson and Baron pointed again Becky. However, not all viewers liked this. Many commentators believed that Sangolo was forced into the final and that the coaches made a big mistake by not choosing Kozicz, who was performing much better in the semi-final.
There were also complaints that the coaches did not respect the viewers’ voices. They decided that Kozicz had more votes. There were even opinions that the program regulations needed to be changed and that viewers’ votes should ultimately decide.

“Dear friends, thank you very much for your support, for your votes, I really didn’t expect that I could get more points from you, from the viewers. This is the most important thing for me. Thank you very much once again. Let’s be together, there will be a lot of cool things here” – he said.
