Roger Waters does not let himself be forgotten. The legendary rocker has recently spoken sympathetically about Putin’s war. Now he surprised German fans… with his clothes.

The former leader of the Pink Floyd band now has to explain why he donned a Nazi uniform for a concert in Germany.

The 79-year-old musician wore a black trench coat with a red armband as if imitating the uniform of the criminal SS formation from the Second World War.

He pretended to shoot the crowd while an inflatable pig with the Star of David hovered above him. The names of people who died as a result of the persecution of Jews during World War II, including Anne Frank, were projected onto the screen during his show.

According to Jewish News, the Berlin police have already launched an investigation into “incitement to crime”.

Police Chief Martin Halweg told the newspaper that Waters’ costume could be seen as glorifying the brutal rule of the Nazi regime.

Earlier this year, Waters was accused of being “anti-Semitic to the core” by Polly Samson, the wife of his former Pink Floyd bandmate David Gilmour.

The bass player, however, claims that he speaks out against “Israel’s disastrous treatment of Palestinians”. He began his program in Berlin by stating that he was not anti-Semitic.

The court in Frankfurt did not ban Waters from performing in front of the public. But the musician’s outrageous behavior has led to questions in the British House of Commons about whether Waters should perform in Manchester next month.
