The Polish film, theater and dubbing actor Marcin Kudelka is dead. Everyone knew his voice roles. It was he who lent his voice to the cartoon Johnny Bravo in the Polish language version. “It can’t be true…” – his friend Marek Bimer bids farewell to Kudelka.
Marcin Kudelka is dead – reported the YouTube channel “I see voices” dedicated to Polish dubbing in social media. His friend Marek Bimer also informs about the death of the Polish voice, film and theater actor via Facebook:
Kudel, Kudlarz. Friend. We’ve done so much together. He has done everything of value to me. Hundreds of things. It was he who ultimately created the quality. He could do everything. The great master. We loved working together. Meet. On the one hand, he was the funniest man in the world. On the other, an incredibly sensitive, warm guy. I thought he would live forever like his beloved grandfather Bolek. Kudel, brother, it’s ku… and it can’t be true…
Marcin Kudelka passed away at the age of 59. It is currently unknown what caused the death. Marek Bimer revealed that his friend’s body was found in an apartment in Sopot.
Marcin Kudelka was born on October 5, 1963 in Warsaw. He was educated at the Warsaw PWST – Faculty of Puppetry Art in Białystok. He started his acting career in 1980, and since 1987 he has also worked as a lector. It was with dubbing and commercials that he was best known. His most iconic creation was the title character in the Polish language version of “Johnny Bravo”. Moreover the audience knew his voice from productions such as: “101 Dalmatians”, “X Men”, “Penguin in Love”, “Goofy on Vacation”, “Duck Pack”, “Bukolandia”, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”, “The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride”, “Prince of Egypt” , “Mickey Mouse Productions”, “Cafe Mouse” or “Donald Duck Presents”. In the last three he was the narrator.
Kudelka also performed in front of the camera. The audience knows his face from the series “House”, “Badziewiakowie” or “Nanny”in which he played the role of Piasek’s manager. He also played in the films “Hummingbird Day”, “111 Days of Lethargy” or “Sztos 2”.
