The “fact” states that the new obligation is related to the act amending the act on the energy performance of buildings and the Construction Law. The regulations have been changed to comply with EU law.
The new regulations are to contribute to energy savings and reduce the operating costs of buildings. The tabloid notices that the change comes with a new obligation for which, unfortunately, you will have to pay. And that’s a lot.
It turns out that property owners will be required to draw up an energy performance certificate for their property. The cost of such certificates starts from PLN 200. This is how much the apartment owners will pay. In the case of single-family houses, the price is already higher – up to PLN 500.
It may be even more expensive in the context of multi-family houses. Here the costs are priced individually.
The new obligation cannot be ignored. Those who ignore this will have to pay a penalty. The sanctions will amount to several thousand zlotys.
When will the obligation come into force?
The act is to enter into force six months after its promulgation. Therefore, the new regulations will most likely become applicable in the spring of 2023.
The amendment to the act on improving the energy efficiency of buildings also provides for, inter alia, introducing changes to the requirements related to the control of heating systems and air-conditioning systems, which extend the scope of systems covered by the obligation to control (this will apply to systems with a capacity of over 70 kW) – observes “Fact”.-
It is also known that universal access to the basic information contained in energy performance certificates is to be made possible. They are collected in the Central building energy performance register.
